Stimulux is the result of a novel approach to interactive lighting. The system consists of tiles that are embedded with LEDs and sensors that control the light level.

The tiles are interconnected, so they can also take account of the stimuli perceived by the surrounding tiles. The user can play with the light by activating the sensors with a movement of the hand. The tiles save the sequences and can replay them either on demand or in a loop.

Stimulux tiles are personalizable – they can be manufactured in many different shapes and sizes. For example, they can be made to cover a wall or they can form a solid three-dimensional object.
